After spending some years working with weddings in Greece, I have curated a list of my favorite wedding venues in Santorini. This list provides brides with a variety of options for different event sizes, budgets, settings, and amenities or inclusions such as lodging, in house catering/bar, etc. In general, I would say to expect spending between $5,000-$10,000 on your base expenses with any of these venues (while the venue rental fee alone might not be so high, each one has a lot of in-house and required things you will book through them, from DJ to mandatory full-service bar packages.) Depending on your guest count and tastes, you could easily spend $20-30,000 or higher with 100+ guests and your “extras”.
If you would like to see my exclusive vendor list for Santorini, click here to fill out my contact form and request your copy! This list includes event rental companies, vintage car/carriage rentals, boat excursions and dinner cruises, DJ and live music, hair and makeup, and so much more! P.S.– Some of the photos you see from these venues are NOT taken from my own events, but rather pulled from their own social media and websites to highlight all the best that each location has to offer. Comment below with any questions you have about these venue locations! (Also skip to the end to take advantage of my exclusive offer for Spring 2026 brides! Dana Villas and Infinity Suites is a comprehensive venue option, providing everything from lodging and on-site catering to details such as champagne flutes and a welcome sign! With a very traditional Greek whitewash style and dramatic cliffside location, Dana Villas is the perfect location to create your classic Greek wedding! This venue is quite affordable, considering everything they include and provide with your rental. This is reflective of their size and guest capacity, which is limited to 24 guests, making Dana Villas a good choice for intimate celebrations and microweddings. The lodging at Infinity Suites is fairly affordable, especially considering it’s location on the busier northern half of the island. Their event staff are very responsive, prompt, and helpful, with all their amenities and pricing clearly laid out and easy to navigate. If you’re looking for elegance and refined style for an intimate event, Dana Villas is for you!
One of the most popular venues in Santorini, the Santorini Gem is in demand because of it’s high style, notable capacity of 160 guests, and beautiful villa lodging. This award winning wedding venue is one of Santorini’s top picks and is regularly featured on wedding and travel blogs, etc. (like this one!) What sets it apart is the exclusive villa access during your stay, the luxurious guest experience provided by the staff, and the great adaptability of the property to accommodate large and small events, in a variety of indoor and outdoor settings. This venue is also a good deal more child-friendly and wheelchair accessible than some others. Their full-service offerings make your entire planning experience stress-free and enjoyable. Santorini Gem is one of the most adaptable venues on this list because it can accommodate such a wide variety of event styles and both large and small events. While it’s definitely on the pricier side of the list, you may find that the investment pays off in spades!
The views from Thermes are just incomparable! Each one of their two or three bedroom villas has stunning sea views and a private pool! The entire property can lodge around 40 people, and has beautiful spaces for large and small weddings, accommodating up to 250 guests! They also have a bridal suite and spa available for you to enjoy! Situated in Megalochori, this venue is located in the center of the island with easy access to the airport, ferry, and local transits. It’s also a little less heavily populated than Oia! The staff at Thermes are beyond kind, and they are at your complete disposal to arrange breakfast, order car service, provide directions or restaurant recommendations, and anything else you may need!
Perched on the top of the caldera, just a five minute walk up the hill from Thermes Luxury Villas, is El Viento. If you’re looking for an authentic taste of Santorini’s rugged landscapes, rich history, and striking architecture, then El Viento is a great option! Featuring the ruins of a 14th century windmill, the architecture and stonework at El Viento provide an incredible Old World backdrop for your modern wedding. With amazing views and sea breezes, you cannot beat the charm of this wedding venue! El Viento provides in-house catering and bartending service for your convenience, serving smaller weddings with 100 guests or less, depending on the space and seating arrangement. While there is no on-site lodging for groups or extended stays, you can freshen up and spend your wedding night in the bridal suite! The bridal suite is located in a charming tower complete with spiral staircase and windows overlooking the caldera sunsets. My favorite feature of this venue, however, may be the huge wooden double doors that provide the perfect dramatic entrance to your ceremony perched on the caldera!
Le Ciel is one of the most iconic Santorini venues. From the highest spot on the caldera, you get uninhibited views of the entire landscape and romantic sunsets. It’s spacious event spaces and open air indoor reception space make the property flexible for your needs and provide you with a convenient and high-class event. They even have a fully air conditioned indoor reception space with retractable roof and windows for open air events, that can be closed in case of rain. This is especially brilliant for brides planning their wedding during the off season when there’s a higher chance of rain or an evening chill. Accommodating around 100 guests, Le Ciel has the staff to make sure your event goes off without a hitch. There is no on-site accommodation, but they are within walking/short driving distance of many gorgeous hotels and villas! They are one of the most often recommended venues and have an incredible reputation. I love communicating with them because they are very quick to respond to emails and easy to work with. Le Ciel is a heavenly spot to say “I DO!” on top of the world!
While there are a ton more amazing venues I could have mentioned, these are my favorites and the ones I would be most willing to work with again! I love Santorini and get so excited by every opportunity to go back for another beautiful event!
